We bring your dog to your home to see how they settle in: a few hours, or an overnight stay.

The two-week trial
Two weeks for both of you to see if it's the right fit, with regular check-ins from our team.
Not run for young puppies, who are a bigger commitment to be sure of first.

Make it official
Pay the adoption fee, sign the contract, and your dog is family.
Every adoption includes a complimentary training session with Dog Walkers, Thao Dien.
Adoption fee: 1,300,000 VND. It goes toward your dog's vaccinations, sterilisation and the medical care they received with us.

Preparing for your new dog
Dog-proof your home
- Check for gaps in fences, balconies or gates they could slip through
- Set up a quiet space with a bed or crate where they can decompress
- Water bowl, food bowl, collar, harness and a leash suited to their size
Stock up on supplies
- We'll tell you what your dog has been eating; keep it consistent at first
- For puppies: pee pads and sturdy rubber or soft plush chew toys, never thin plastic
- A crate is optional but helps during settling-in

When they come home: the 3-3-3 rule
Every rescue dog adjusts at their own pace. Be patient, be consistent, and trust the process.

Frequently asked questions
Can expats adopt?
Yes, very welcome. We ask that you've thought through relocating your dog when the time comes, and we'll point you in the right direction.
What does the adoption fee cover?
It goes some way toward your dog's vaccinations, sterilisation and all the medical treatment they received in our care.
Can I adopt if I have other pets?
In most cases, yes. We'll talk through your home during the application and visits to make sure it's right for everyone, including your existing animals.
How long does it take?
It varies by dog and situation, but most adoptions complete within 2–3 weeks of the application.
What if the trial isn't working out?
That's what the trial is for. Contact us and we'll work with you on the best outcome for you and the dog. No dog ends up without a safe home.

One session with Mark at Dog Walkers in Thao Dien, tailored to your biggest need: busy Saigon streets, routines at home, toilet training, or introducing existing pets.
